I have been active in the world of IT since 1986. Over the years I have worked in research and development, banking information systems, management software and industrial automation, always with the same approach: understand the problem thoroughly before building the solution.
I like to work close to real processes, speak with the people who use the solutions every day, and turn technical complexity into tools that are clear, reliable and measurable.
Over time my focus moved increasingly towards industrial automation and Industrial IoT, eventually leading to Ubotics: the meeting point between field experience, research, software and entrepreneurial vision.

My journey
Four decades in IT.
An increasingly clear direction.
My professional story has not been linear by design: each stage gave me a different perspective, eventually leading me to the world where I feel most at home today — industry.
I have been active in the world of IT since 1986. I began my career at a telematics engineering company, within the Research & Development team, working on highly technological projects and collaborating every day with some of the leading engineers in the Milan area.
I later accepted an opportunity at a bank in Brianza, where for around eight years I worked on information systems and internal software solutions. Over time, however, the banking environment began to feel too restrictive, and in the early 2000s I decided to become self-employed and start my own business.
That marked the beginning of a new phase. Thanks also to the excellent relationship I had maintained with the bank, I developed vertical software for recording and digitally archiving telephone calls. These solutions were deployed throughout the rural banks of Trentino-Alto Adige and in around 800 branches of the bank where I had previously worked.
At the same time I developed complete management systems for small and medium-sized companies — customers and suppliers, warehouse, production, transport documents, invoicing, basic accounting and much more — as well as dedicated software solutions for healthcare organisations.
In 2006, almost entirely through word of mouth, I was brought into a major company producing machinery for the steel industry. I immediately realised how much I enjoyed analysing production processes and proposing advanced software solutions to automate and optimise them. From that point on, I increasingly focused my work on industrial automation and Industrial IoT.
I have always believed in research and development, continuously investing in new technologies. Over time I designed MasterBlade®, an innovative software solution for optimising blade setups and calculating configurations in just a few seconds. Today it is an integral part of the Ubotics Srl portfolio.
Driven by the trust of customers and the growth of our projects, I founded Ubotics Srl in 2021, with the goal of combining more than 25 years of field experience and building scalable Industrial IoT solutions for manufacturing companies and service centres, particularly in the steel industry.
